ORDERING

ORDERING QUALIFICATIONS

BIDKhome is a wholesale company and sells to the trade only. By submitting your order, you are verifying that you are ordering for a legitimate business and are recognized at the federal and state level to make tax-exempt purchases for the purpose of resale.

MINIMUM ORDER

There are no minimum requirements for ordering. Please note that certain items sold by case packs. Orders under $800are shipped at the actual shipping rate (determined by the carrier), which may constitute a higher-than-average percentage of total order value. Please see the shipping section for our orders over $800.

BACKORDERS

We strive to ship every order complete, but sometimes that not possible. All backorders will ship unless cancelled by the customer. It is highly recommended to cancel backorders in writing. When your order is ready to be shipped, any item not available will be placed on backorder unless instructed otherwise. Please note that your order will be shipped as complete as possible, but it is not suggested to request complete shipping as this may delay delivery of your order.

SHIPPING

We understand that shipping charges play an important role in your purchasing decisions. For your convenience, the following is a transparent and standardized zonal shipping charge structure calculated as a percentage of your order total.

Simply find your zone. Then using the table below, apply the appropriate shipping percentage according to your order total.

This new shipping structure is: 

  • FOB Cold Spring, NY
  • Valid only within the lower 48 States. Outside of this area actual shipping rates will apply. Freight can be quoted based on a sales order and upon special request.
  • Valid for both LTL and FedEx Ground shipping
  • Includes all standard handling charges.
  • Carried over to back orders, if any, at the rate of the initial order.
  • Valid only for orders comprised of more than 50% full-priced merchandise (by value).
  • Orders comprised of 50% or more Attic (discounted) items will be shipped at an Actual Shipping Rate value of the items.
  • Customers are welcome to pick up orders at our Cold Spring, New York Warehouse with 24hour notice and by appointment only.

Please Note:

  • Zones have been recalibrated and rates are slightly increased for the first time in two years due to carrier rate increases.
  • Your invoice will reflect separate totals for merchandise and shipping charges.
  • Attic, sale and discounted items will be shipped at a rate assessed to original wholesale price.
  • Due to carrier requirements, pre-authorized claims for damaged or defective items must be filed within 5 business days of receipt of shipment.
  • Returns of first quality merchandise are not permitted, unless the error is BIDKhome’s.

Accessorial Charges

Shipping companies charge for extra services outside of their normal rate schedule. If a customer requests additional services or the shipping company deems it necessary, we will pass on these extra shipping costs according the following schedule:

Shipping Glossary

Accessorial Charges: “À la carte” or “accessory” charges for additional shipping or delivery services FOB (Freight on Board): the responsibility for freight charges begin at location following HFC (Hold For Confirmation): an order that is assembled but not considered “active”.
Liftgate: Specialized equipment on the rear of a truck that brings the palletized shipment to street level.
LimitedAccess Location Fee:A charge levied by the shipping company at their discretion due to the extra effort required to make the delivery. Such locations include but not limited to: camps,placesofworship,educational institutions,constructionsites,temporaryevents,storage units, locations requiring security inspections, schools, islands, businesses,rural locations and farms.
LTL (Less than Truckload): palletized shipment transported by truck.
Third Party Shipper: shipping company determined by the customer that is not in regular use by BIDKhome.


Shipping Policy Rider (as it appears on the Sales Order)

Damages, defective merchandise and/or shortages must be reported within 5 business days of receipt of goods. The refusal of shipments can result in a 20% restocking fee and payment of all freight charges. Upto-date shipping fee schedule is available at www.bidkhome.com/customer-service.html.Please note that accessorial charges are assessed as needed and assessed by shipping companies not BIDKhome. Orders are charged/billed the day of shipment. Back-orders will be shipped unless cancelled by customer. A 25% charge will be applied to any accounts in collection.

PAYMENT

All first orders are shipped under prepaid conditions (credit card or wire transfer). Credit cards are charged at the time of shipment, only for the items shipped. Net 30 day payment terms may be established after the first order and only upon approval of credit. To apply for Net 30 days, please download the credit application , complete in its entirety, and email it to customerservice@bidkhome.com or fax to 845.265.6389. Net 30 terms are only available to domestic customers. All international orders must be shipped under prepaid conditions. Delinquent accounts are subject to interest charges and revocation of net 30 terms. Delinquent accounts that are submitted for collection will incur an additional 20% collection fee and all associated legal expenses.

CLAIMS AND RETURNS

CLAIMS

Damages, shortages, and defects must be reported in writing within 5 days of receipt of goods. All damage must be documented with a photograph. If there is any damage to the outer packaging of the shipment, it is important to describe in writing the damage on the delivery receipt or electronic clipboard of carrier. If the shipment is signed for in good condition, but concealed damage has occurred, you must contact BIDKhome within 3 days to report the damage and request an inspection of the damaged goods. Please keep all original packing for 5 business days after damage is reported.

RETURNS

All returns must be authorized by BIDKhome with the issuance of a Return Authorization number. Any items returned without a valid RA# on the outside of the carton will be refused and all shipping charges will be the responsibility of the sender. Any unauthorized items that are returned with authorized items will not receive credit. If an item is reported to be defective and upon authorized return, is deemed by BIDKhome to be of first quality, then a 20% re-stocking fee and applicable shipping charges will be applied. Returns for first quality merchandise are not accepted.

ECOMMERCE CONSIDERATIONS

MAP POLICY

Our minimum advertised price policy is 2.1 times the wholesale price.

CHANGING INVENTORY

Our inventory is constantly changing, and we recommend that online retailers regularly check our inventory to ensure fulfillment.

PRODUCT IMAGERY

Product imagery remains the property of the BIDKhome unless otherwise specified. Elements contained within this website can not be reproduced, copied, modified or used in any manner without the express permission of BIDKhome. Under no circumstances can these images be used for any personal or commercial purpose. Please contact info@bidkhome.com for permission to use images for any purpose. High resolution files are also available.

DROP SHIPPING

We are happy to serve our ecommerce customers with a drop shipping program. The standard rate of $10 per shipment applies to all ecommerce shipments as well.
